Screencasting Software - that's FREE!

I'm looking for some free screencasting software that I can download to use with my students. So far the examples I've come across have been free 30 day trials. I've played around with Community Clips but it keeps crashing when we try to use it.

Any suggestions?

I've started using Jing and I find it really friendly, I send feedback to my students' written work or send them the homework when they are absent. I'm having a look at screen toaster at the moment... I'll let you know how it works..
