I am presenting investigating the crucial role that effective feedback plays in the classroom. My intention is to present to my staff a manner of ways that feedback can be better delivered to optimise its impact upon learning. A valuable starting point for me has been following the work of Professor John Hattie (University of Auckland). I would greatly appreciate any other resources or ideas  that members may be able to recommend. Many thanks.

Have you looked at the Black & William research, it's old now but seminal. Also Rick Stiggins. The Marzano group is doing a lot of work with feedback as well. Our school district is embarking on some action research using clickers. I've been interested in this question as well. Susan Brookhart came out with a book last year, How to Give Effective Feedback to Your Students. I've found that book, published by ASCD to be helpful.
