Hello, have a website called MEET ME AT THE CORNER, Virtual Field Trips for Kids (www.meetmeatthecorner.org) . I am very interested in using technology in the classroom and developing a website that is helpful to the classroom teacher.

I bought a 42" lcd to use in my classroom. I have a projector, doc camera and so forth. What I really want to be able to do, is make the tv a touch screen for my computer to get the students involved. What are my options, any home made devices?

As Kevin Honeycutt put it, “Kid’s are changin’ any fool can tell and the ways that you teach ‘em have to change as well. You might not like it ’cause we grow up fast, but prepare us for your future and not your past”. So, what do we do? How do we answer that call? The Horizon Report detailed the major influences in education within the next five years and none of them even existed five years ago. If we are behind now, and continue to shuffle our feet, where will be in five years? Well, what can we do? It’s our move, our turn to roll the dice, our opportunity to make a difference. I don’t know about you, but I see an opportunity before us. An opportunity to be GREAT. It is time for us to be monumental, it’s our time to make history. To make history for our students. Lasting impressions that they will forever remember, cherish and hopefully pass on to others throughout their life.

Dear colleagues and friends,
I was just wondering if you had some questionnaire/checklist to obtain data on foreign language teachers' perceptions on the use of Web2.0 tools. I would like to collect data on this topic. The results will be shared here, of course.
Many thanks for your assistance and cooperation in advance.
Have posted pictures of 3D Memorial Projects created by 8th graders over at my profile page. Check out Learning From Lyrics FB Group; see wall for more technology integration ideas and examples of student media projects. Also check info page for additional links and resources...

I actually am in NJ too. I came across a site worldwideworkshop.org that has a program/curriculum called globaliria in which students create games based on content/subject areas.
Hi, I am new to this group . I am a technology teacher in New Jersey. Our NJCCCS have been revised beyond belief. They revolve around only modern technology and not how technology has developed. Has any made this connection and if so what type of projects are you working on?
