I have created an open ended set of related tools that encompass mythology and ancient civilizations. This can be used in conjunction with the history, culture, and architecture of ancient civilizations, mythology as literature, or any topic limited only by the creativity of the teacher.

The tools consist of over 200 links to the mythology of more than 20 cultures and a website that combines culture, architecture, and history of ancient civilizations. The project staff consists of an IT developer, an artist and historian, and a k-12 teacher with more than 20 years experience.

iTeach will is a forum for educators who are interested in synthesizing their content and curriculum with web 2.0 applications. There will be a variety of lesson plans from various disciplines and grade levels. It is my hope, that this site will generate creativity and progress in the classroom of the future as well as stimulating collaboration between educators all over the world.

Faiza,

I got the widget installed today, and it seems to be working fine, but near the end of loading it puts up a lot of pop-ups about errors. The supposed errors are things like the background of the page and the counter which is in javascript. I have my machine set to let me know about page errors because of testing content. Does this slow down the ordinary users? Is there any way to get rid of them. The most frequent finds a error in line 0, which doesn't exist, saying that the item "null" is either null or 0 ....

I'll give the widget a try tomorrow, and see how it goes. I am a bit wobbly what is it, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Hope your daughter enjoys the stuff on my site. Be sure to show her to put her name into the stories and print them out for you to read to her, or her to read to herself. King Midas is the newest story!

Anne, I am glad you liked the widget. The link to WordAheadappears to be working fine from your website. And if you would like to embed the following widget on your website, you will have to use the embed code that is available for everyone at www.WordAhead.com/widget. Embedding the widget shouldnt take long even with Dial-up and once embedded, the videos stay! Infact, whenever I add new videos to the widget at my end, these new videos will automatically be updated to the widget wherever it is embedded including your website. The website is in beta, and I am actively fixing issues and bugs as they are pointed out.

The sample looks good .... a bit of a sleepy-time voice. I tried to link it up to my website on http://www.educationalsynthesis.org/language/index-Words.html and you website response was rather shakey. I guess that's because it's in BETA.

BTW, once downloaded, will the video stay? I am on dialup and if I don't let something come all the way in and then run it, it comes in choppy.
