This is great. I use storytelling a lot. Would love to sharpen skills and learn how to use this avenue of expression with my Lower School Students.

Dear Maria Teresa, I live in Brescia. I know Pian and Maragliano: I admire them very much. At this moment I prefer, however, Mario Rotta. What inspired you came from Rob? What do you think to accomplish? Excuse my English school, but at this moment, I do not have time to make it better.

Hi Laura,
how are you? Where are you from? This year i've made a master about this topic in Italy, but i want to increase my competence with international experience. Do you know Alberto Pian and Roberto Maragliano? I ahave had them as my teachers. Thisy evening I visited the link suggest by Rob and i found a lot of new ideas to be realized.
Bye Maria Teresa

There are many stories with pedagogical value of psychotherapy, which can be used in education with different goals: self-knowledge, social knowledge, metacognition. I teach philosophy and often start the lesson with a story, song, story in relation to the direction of the lesson. Which authors? Italo Calvino, Chin-Ning Chu, Bucay, Fowles, Sufi tales ... http://www.chersi.it/wordpress/?p=16

Rob - indeed, tricky with varying aptitudes. If you ever want contributor ideas, or want to brainstorm, let me know! jocelyn@visuj.com.

Thanks Jocelyn for the comments. Yes, I agree we do want to "inspire" educators and students alike to develop their own narratives. The intent of the DST e-book is hopefully to not come across as too prescriptive, yet provide idea sparks to try this in the classroom. It is a tricky proposition, as I was attempting to create a resource for educators who might come to a DST project with varying levels of technical aptitude.
