After attending a one day workshop on effective class room walkthroughs, I began to wonder how these are used in other schools and districts.<br />

The whol concept of this workshop was to streamline the walk through to be about 2-3 minutes for data gathering. These are not intended to be assessing or evaluative. The data, which is 5 items, is to be collected and used for questions to be posed to grade levels, teams, departments, or even at faculty meetings. These questions would be the basis of…
