An Action Inquiry into How I can use positive reinforcement to improve my working practice

I am an undergraduate in the third and final year of a degree in Research, Information and Technology. The final stages of the degree have required us to carry out an action inquiry in our work setting and my chosen project was looking at how I use positive reinforcement.

As part of our research we need to look at methods to disseminate the findings from our work based project and as my research has been limited due to the restrictions I am faced with in my organisation I have chosen to use Classroom 2.0 as an additional forum to disseminate my work.

I have attached a power point presentation and a PDF which illustrates the findings from my research. I have also attached further documentation and would like as much feedback as possible. I would like to know other peoples views and methods which they have found useful when using positive reinforcement in a lesson and, your comments would help me in the remaining stages of my write up.

I looked at Non verbal communication as an additional tool when using positive reinforcement and although this is a small scale research project with limited time spent on it,I believe that with additional time and development of knowledge this could become an area of focus which could benefit teaching assistants a great deal,and could enhance knowledge on managing behaviour in the classroom more effectively.
