We all know Common Core is the way of the land these days. Has anyone drastically had to alter their teaching styles or lessons in order to meet the demands of this new fad? I'm a music educator and have not been hit as hard in my district to implement Common Core. However, I'd like to be prepared and proactive on the situation. Does anyone have ideas how to implement CC in a high school band room? Also, are there things I'm possibly already doing that fit into Common Core?
