I would like to say that I am very happy that most of all the colleges I have attended and univ. have model technology. At least in the unversities they do have access to technology. They also get funding for technology since most of all the colleges have a place for staff to explore various types of technology and learn before they use it in their classroom. So most of the new teachers have more interactions or practices with technology.

I do think it would be a great idea for college teaching programs to have an "Integrating Technology in the Content Areas" course, in addition to just a basic technology course. I do agree with Nadine though, aren't most colleges using technology to deliver content?

I was surprised to read (page 24) "Given the recent inclusion of technology in education, many preservice teachers have had limited experiences in learning their subject matter with technology." Aren't colleges/universities using technology to deliver content of subject area in the year 2008?

I was under the impression that questions were to be posted here so that we could discuss before we attempted to discuss Friday afternoon. I am anxious to use this with my colleagues.
