My name is Cindy and I work at a Learning Technology Center in Illinois. There are 15 of us spread throughout the state. I work with 106 districts. I too work between the state board of education and the districts. We also have a number of Regional Offices in the state that work with professional development so I work with them also. Just curious as to where others are from.

How can Education Service Centers assist rural school districts in acquiring equipment such as digital cameras, Web cams, and other equipment?

Looking for professional solutions, not "Hold a bake sale."

My name is Cheryl and I support mathematics and science education in Washington state. Our state is geographically divided into nine Educational Service Districts, each of which has a math and a science coordinator. I support the work of these 18 coordinators and act as a liaison between them and multiple offices at our state education agency including the Teaching & Learning office, the School & District Improvement office and the RtI program in the Special Education office. There are not a lot of people in our state working in this middle position. I often feel like I'm working largely alone even though I tend to work at the center of a wheel simply working hard to connect people across the circle. I joined this network to see if there were others in positions like mine and if we could support each other with the SYSTEM (not district or classroom) level work. Who else is here? Cheryl
