I am a return student, majoring in early childhood music education. My acedemic job is at Glendale Community College where I lead weekly science lectures to visiting elementary students visiting our Science Education Center. I also work closely with my husband on the Crossroads of Learning website, a portal for resources to support tutoring and one-to-one education.
Hi Nalini, thanks for your request.
As to eTutoring at my institution and to our project DigiSkills (Developing Digital Skills @ School) in short:
Students must have duties as well as teachers! And I try to motivate students within my lessons and in extra work as to the project. Some students are eTutors as to creating websites like Joomla or Typo3. Other students explain how to use mindmapping or even webquests to their classmates. There is no problem for me to find such students!
Cheers
