    Hi Jim.
Great to get the invite. Author of 3 books for ISTE? That caught my eye. I am proudly a member of ISTE Second Life: Betina Shan. A good friend of mine, Greg Gebhart, who presented at NECC this year, was kind enough to get me my ISTE Second Life badge.
My main projects at the moment are the international Rafi Ki project with my year 7 and 8 students, which has been fantastic for the students to get involved in. As well as this, I am doing bubbl us mind maps and wikispaces wikis with my year 7's as part of their creative writing work. Both their "bubbles" and wikis are works in progress and have been really valuable for the kids to develop, extend, re-work and collaborate with their ideas.
    Kind Regards,
    Betina.
