Thank you Greg. It may take some time, but I am looking forward to seeing how this space develops. The scope for integrating my newly established wiki pages and podcast site is something I am keen to investigate.
Hi adelaidelad, great to have you with us in classroom 2.0 and nice to see more from OZ joining in the fun.
Looking forward to connecting, learning and sharing alongside you and the rest of the crew.
Thanks Jim,
Having 2 teenage sons and being single mum, has led to my learning how to play, playstation and x-box over the years and have seen it go from just the games you play on your own with pals to games you play online with people all over the world - I am not great though. First time playing Halo 2 online and I managed to wipe out everyone on my team - not a great start but all those my guys play with were really kind, thought it was great a mum would even give it a go and then asked me to hand back the controls to my guys. I have improved but it took a while.
So with all of that over the years, the fact that they have had 'web identies' for what seems forever, on myspace in particular, along with the opportunities I have had for formal professional development - Flexible Learning Leader in 2003 - Australian Flexible Learning Framework and my continuing networking within the Framework, oh and the fact I am a curious cat and have always looked for ways, outside the square to enhance the learning environment and experience for my learners, taking the time to check out various online tools and technologies, is now a part of my daily routine and I love it.
Another member is working on a project, where learners globally are learning, sharing and collaborating using a wiki, If you are interested, I am more than happy to pass on the details to you.
Great to meet you and I too look forward to learning more about what you are doing and your experiences, ideas and thoughts.
