    You a so lucky to have Dan Maranda as a Superintendent! I have known him for years and he really has a vision for the future. You have such an opportunity to use technology to conect in a variety of ways. I look forward to collaborating with you.     Teri,
    I really do see power in SL, form a professional development side. Right now it is very difficult to work with students in this environment due to the restrictions the Linden's have put on the teen and the maure grid. There are a number of people working to change this, but it is not ready yet. At the middle school level have you looked at Google Sketch-up for 3-D modeling, now that is cool!
