I teach AP US history and am a Keystone Technology Integrator in our school district. I teach in a suburban York County school district which is a leading school in technology integration in our area. I took the picture of the frog sitting on the frog by my water garden two years ago.
I think Ning's structure is such that you would probably create a new Ning group for sub-groups--but that's not optimal. I do like the idea of groups. I'll bring it up.
I just really caught that you are an AP US teacher. My AP US teachers are great with technology. I posted more on the AP US History project on my page and I confess, I haven't figured this network out completely yet so I'm not sure where I would be cross posting. Next year they might even be ready to research with kids in another school.
Dave, I look forward to some great conversations. Btw, we are just starting AP in our school - English and Studio Art for next year. I'm excited about this as it will give some students more of a challenge and an opportunity to use their talents.
Hi Dave. I'm an adult educator in California. I came to your page and added you as a friend because I read your post abour Diigo and watched your screencast. I had never heard of Diigo before, and adult education teachers in CA will be really interested in it, I believe, so thanks!
