One thing I'm passionate about?: education. I'm especially interested on its evolution towards a more interactive and flexible environment - mostly because of its potential to give access to top educational content to anyone who wants to learn - a step beyond the "universal education" concept (that currently does not guarantee top quality)
Main areas I’m interested in are social pedagogy, anthropology and sociology applied to taylor made lessons. Sharing feedback on already implemented experimental teaching techniques also welcome! :)
Hi, I'm sure you will be a very good teacher1. I have noticed that when you involve the students into projects they feel very happy, you know, the learning by doing approach, if the project is relevant to them it will be a success, and don’t forget to show your enthusiasm that make wonders and it’s contagious. Good luck!
Welcome Esther from Bavaria/Germany!
I focus on Web 2.0 apps as to education.
Have you ever heard about "ukgermanconnection" - schools could get together and that would be financed.

Thanks for that video Esther! It was a perfect choice. I'm a kids author who does a lot of school visits to get students excited about reading, so I can relate to many of the scenes in the video. Dr. Ken has some great ideas to make science fun and engaging. Thanks for sharing it with me.
Hi Esther, are you aware of any virtual games out there that can be used for teaching? I see you are into social pedagogy and experimental teaching techniques so I thought you might have some info....? cheers, jack
Hey Esther - that's right I'm a kids author. I specialize in writing graphic novels that engage reluctant readers. I'm very interested in using other "alternative" literacies like video games to boost reading and writing skills in kids and instill in them a love for words, whether it's on a page or on a screen.
