I confess that our school, The International School of Azerbaijan is not up to speed with classroom webpages. Our primary principal is a trogladyte when it comes to the internet. He's not against stuff, he just has not enthusiasm for it in the classroom.
We are in the final days of the Grade 5 Exhibition and today the school finished a re-authorisation in the IB. Our Exhibition was rated as best practice in the PYP. The comment was something like, "I've seen no better Exhibition. " Alright, I'm feeling proud. :-) It's been full-on but we did set our sites very high. Next year we need to thin it out a little.
All this is a long way of saying that I want to put our process and the 'results' on-line before the end of the year in professional generosity. The examples on the PYP website are not inspiring, and I would like to think that we have a product that will be a good model for others. We have taken lots of photos, but the big thing is the process - the thinking and challenges that the kids face. They are years ahead of what I was doing in the classroom at their age.
We will get server space here at school and get someone to create the page if we can't do it ourselves. We want to upload all the checklists, survey and interview teaching sheets, student-mentor planning form, mentor form for recording progress. I'll email when it happens late June, but I'd appreciate it if you would make a note in your diary about emailing me around that time to remind me.
Thanks for the note. It's nice to link up with others. I have survival Spanish but wish to be proficient. I guess I've missed my chance until another life. :-) I'm currently learning Azeri slowly.

I work with grades K-5 at two elementary schools. We are not PYP schools but I am interested in learning about them. Perhaps we can share ideas.
