Hi, thanks for your message - of course we can become friends! I started working with digital teaching methods some years ago. Feel free to join my group on Classroom 2.0 called DigiSkills with now 335 members - the biggest one in Classroom 2.0.
Additionally - on 24th I will be present at Intel Germany - we will talk about the new features for Notebook ClassmatePC.

    Hello Mubiru,
I am not working in a classroom right now so I can't initiate any joint ventures between other students and yours however, I am most interested in doing some type of initiative - perhaps we can work together on a digital storytelling project that focuses on your history curriculum.

Please feel free to skype me or email me at sl_info AT yahoo DOT com .

I would also be honoured if a few teachers from your school got involved with the Unconnected School Project by joining the Classroom 2.0 group here (I will send you an invite!) - you can visit this website to learn more.

Feel free to share the Unconnected Classroom info with as many teachers in your area possible.

    Hello Mibiru,
Thank you for your reply and I hope your maths teacher will contact me. Congratulations on your web site and your vision for the school. My students are of similar ages and have recently been in contact with another class in New York. It would be very beneficial for them to (virtually) meet students from Uganda. Do you have access to Skype?
    Best regards, Britt Gow

    Thanks for the welcome!

    Hi Mubiru!

We would love to form a student partnership with you all. I serve as the Partnership Coordinator for my school and think any kind of communication exchange with you all can lead to global knowledge and understanding. Off the bat, I can see our AP Human Geography classes (college level), geography, and AVID students to be a great place to start. Maybe we can eventually video conference one day. Any idea exchange will be great!

    G'day Mubiri
very interested to hear from you - I'm sure we can share some stories as our school will be very interested in starting a connection. I can't promise to visit in the near future - but who knows what might happen.

    Hi Mubiru
What kind of help is needed in your school library?
I have been working 12 years now to support Norwegian teachers running their schoollibraries in primary and secundary schools provinding on-line cources via the net and is a former schoollibrarian myself. The use of schoollibraries and use of web 2.0 in education and training in information literacy is my main subjects.
