About Me
I teach Science at Orem Junior High School in Utah. I teach grades 7-9 at the school. I'm preparing to begin my 24th year in the profession. I am my school's science department chair (and have been for 10 years) and am also in my third year as the Alpine School District Science Specialist. I am the workshop facilitator and webmaster for Utah's Sci-ber Text project (an online textbook for science use in grades 3-9.)

I am bilingual on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. I am comfortable trouble shooting most programs or computer problems. I have great Internet access at both home and school. (Both are connected with fiber optic.)

I became a Master Teacher when Intel® Education arrived in Utah in 2001. My students enjoy doing projects that I design using what I have learned from the Intel® Teach Program. I am also an eMints teacher and have one computer for every two students in my classroom.

    Hi, this is Kevin. Hope your summer is going well and you had some time to relax.

    I've started a new Ning network for Middle School Science Teachers and I thought you might like to join as you are also a m.s. science teacher.
