Hi Dave, I´m working as a Deputy Head in a Secondary School as well.
I focus on Web 2.0 as to education and I´m deeply involved in EU-projects like Comenius and eTwinng.

Dave, its great to see other educationalists from the UK hear in classroom 2.0. As an aside I have found it hard to find other teachers working with 'older' students using and applying webware. It would be good to catch up at some point.

David, do you have / used skype?
    Distributed learning is very powerful
SO much you can do with 2.0 - I love using our wiki
    BTECNATIONALSINSPORT
Even used it for introductory day and getting the students to stay in contact with one another

Well, perhaps when its works for you would could introduce ourselves. I have had a little success spreading the value of wikis and webware at www.tauntons.ac.uk - with the science team. There maybe an opportunity to calloborate. This is Caro page, early days.

Hi, Dave. I'm an assistant principal in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's nice to have another admin in the network. Welcome. :)

great comments in discussion about focusing on the issues of learning itself first, and technology second. And I totally agree with you about how wonderful the tools are, and how we've got to spread them and watch our colleagues fly... Thanks for all your contributions on CR2.0!

Looking forward to the various WAP applications that use google maps and such with my GPS enabled phone. as I tour this flooded country for the next couple of weeks. Could do with some great ideas for innovative use of GPS in Science classes.
