Welcome MaryLou and well done on trying all those tools in such a short time. It took me more than 12 months to do the same.

My God, woman...... you dove into ALL of that in that much time? Please do tell what led you to such things.

As an instructional coach (and biology instructor) in the middle of a technology integration project, I am very interested in what type of stimulus could have driven you to such immersion.

My staff development site is found here, but my two biology projects are found here and here. Welcome into classroom (or life) 2.0!

This is funny! Sean is a colleague of mine in St. Joseph! I guess we both sense the energy in your words! I felt the same way with trying everything out--I've got the Delicious account , Shelfari, my blog for professional development, and a classroom Ning, called Ecotigers. (Ecotigers is password protected, but if you're ever interested, I'd be happy to invite you to join.)

Anyway, I've done all this in the last 2 months, with nashworld's help! I'm hoping I can find others to encourage me to continue to stretch my boundaries in technology and to provide ideas when needed. For example, my latest project is to figure out how to take 60 seconds out of a utube clip and post it in a blog. I'm part way there!

Anyway, I look forward to learning!

Oh, I'm going through the National Board Certification Process right now... Hopefully, I can ask questions???

Yes, I've gotten the box. One area I knew I was week in was parent communication. I never felt like Newsletters really made much of a difference. Anyway, one of my goals this year was to have more involvement with parents and the community within my class. Most of my parents work, and found it difficult to "volunteer". So, I've set up a Ning for my Investigative Environomental Science class. Obviously, it's new, but I'm starting to have the parents interact with the students in ways I had hoped for... Like, one found a cool website and posted it on the discussion board--inviting the students to comment.
Yeah! I'm curious to see where that will go.
As for Twitter. I had signed up, and then did nothing with it for a couple of weeks. I finally got back to it Twitter: terri_science.
