I am a foreign language teacher (English and French). For many years I have been actively involved in collaborative projects and networks in Europe and Asia. I am a lifelong learner of intercultural communication.
Hi and welcome from Bavaria/Gemany!
Three years ago I went ot Helsinki joining a Comenius 3 Network conference: Neothemi - I did a lesson there.

Hi Sinikka! What a great surprise to get a message from you here at Ning. Otherwise, I'm also a newbie at this site but it seems to have great educational potentials.
I'm just getting my feet wet here but hopefully I'll soon be able to get full advantage of it. :)
Let's keep in touch!
Have a nice weekend, you too! :)
Welcome to Classroom 2.0 ! I am a French teacher too and you may interested to check out the links to resources I have on my blog, My Languages, for French and English. Go to my blog and click on the corresponding delicious tag on the right e.g. French, English or EAL (the list of tags is very long, you might fancy something else like ICT or software to check out some of those web 2.0 tool! )
Hello!
A colleague and I are starting a Ning page (frenchbookclub.ning.com) which will follow our syllabi for a college level French and Francophone literature in translation course. We would love for you and/or your students to participate! We're under construction until the beginning of the semester (Jan 20, 2009), but feel free to take a look at what we've created thus far! Take care!
With your work in intercultural communication, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
