I teach computer application classes to grades 6-8. I am always thrilled to learn new applications and get wonderful ideas for the classroom. I am hoping to be able to share ideas and learn more by being a part of Classroom 2.0.
I just want to thank the invitations to be part of their network. I will post questions as they arise. I am excited about the potential benefits of this network.
Hi Chris, I have not attended TIE, but look forward to it next year, heard it's great! Your technology info looks interesting - I'll have to explore your home page further.
I read your post about incorporating video. I'm an EFL instructor, training teachers. You can access my site www.ddd.batcave.net and through it, use my library of videos. Downloadable, for students. I've also got lots of presentations in .swf and ppt which would be good models. Need an invite to these folders and if you want one, just send me an email address.
Great to see teachers teaching "through" multimedia and getting the students to muckabout and produce and then share.
Thanks for the kind words. I have not been that attentive to ning but have come back just to see what else I can do. Myspace and Facebook sort of priorities due to the work I now find myself immersed in and I love it.

Should update you a little on what I have been up too - or google me - it scares me still and sometimes I think my fingers should be glued together.
Any questions, input etc I can answer or offer - just ask away, as I will be playing in ning again, like you over the break.

I focus on Web 2.0 as to education.
Check out my group Digiskills on Classroom 2.0 as well.
