Hi Cyndi, I would like to invite you to join College 2.0, http://college2.ning.com/, more targeted to Higher Education

Hi Cyndi, hopefully you feel good!
Today I would like to give you a recommendation as to screencasting, but maybe you know already. Anyway, check out www.screencast-o-matic.com
It works with Java applet: Win, mac and linux machines online.
    Have fun!
    Cheers

Cyndi, I've just found you inside Classroom 2.0 and I see that you're using WalkieTalkie here from Yackpack. I'd like to put the WT on my page here, too, and also on my page at the We Are Teachers network (another Ning network). I copied the code that YackPack generates for a personal WalkieTalkie into my blog at We Are Teachers, but all I ended up with was the code. No widget.
Would you be willing to tell me how you made the widget show up here inside Ning?

    Cyndi,

    It's been a while since we've talked.

Part of my job now is helping the other teachers here at SJMS implement different aspect of technology in their classrooms...all content areas.

Hopefully, I can find some useful tidbits here.

I am just setting up my account for the class and want to see if I am doing it right. I am trying to put you as a friend
  • Kelly Rogers

Cyndi, thanks for all the help. I am enjoying all that is being discussed......learning so much.
  • Jennifer Koch Lubke

Hello, Cindi. I wanted to tell you how much I like the piece from your syllabus about being a "knowledge seeker" versus "knowledge meeter." That's beautiful -- I even added it to my blog. If you don't mind, I will probably steal it some day. Thanks for sharing it!
  • Michelle Hudiburg

Thank you for the invitation. I would really like to joing you. When I get a few minutes here, I'll check it out.

Cyndi - here is how I used VoiceThread to do an overview of our multi-school Monster project - it grows as participants send in their work.

Sorry I haven't participated any more than I have. Grading papers is going to be my downfall! LOL.
  • Kelly

I thought this was a fun website. I did have some problems. I couldn't find many pictures to use or how use my own pictures. I liked how there were a variety of templates to choose from.

Here's the link to the transcript - word for word + replies. I'm going to be making it prettier to use as a handout, just email me @ kolson29@gmail.com if you want it.
