Hello Deborah and welcome to classroom2.0 Do you teach classes or are you studying. We started blogging with students at the beginning of last year and are rather amazed too, by the visitors that we get and the countries that they come from. There is a lot of information here to share so have a good look around.

Hello. Welcome to Classroom 2.0. Would you be willing to have your students interact with my students in the USA? I would love to give my students the opportunity to learn from other students living in a different country. We study about Ancient Egypt, so my students would love to hear from students actually living in Egypt. Check out my blog: http://waterforsixthgrade.blogspot.com

Hi Deborah. Thank you! I am so glad you accepted my request to be a part of International Connections. My students will think it's so cool to talk with students from Cairo, Egypt because we studied Ancient Egypt and the pyramids and they really love it. Well, at this point, my class has interacted with Turkey and Scotland, so we are excited to add another country. The format is quite simply, really. I post questions on my blog, then your students respond to the questions. The questions deal with things about what school and life is like in your country, so basically your students just tell us anything they want or know about school and Egypt. We can answer the questions about ourselves and our school and our country for you as well. It has worked pretty well so far. My students, despite the fact they are only English speaker, still struggle with some spelling, unfortunately, so don't worry about that. :) let me know what you think and when you are ready for the questions to be posted. Thanks Again! my students and I really appreciate it.

    Hello Dan,

All is well here in the land of sand. Speaking of sand, it blowing all over the place today. We can taste it when this happens. It's common for this time of year. We will chime in on Sunday. Students are very excited about the communication!
