Hi Chris, my focus is on Web 2.0 apps in education and european projects like Comenius and eTwinning. Feel free to check some of my sites and I would love if you decide to join my group on CR 2.0 called DigiSkills with 467 members now - it is about digital teaching methods...
And feel free to join my own network on Ning: COMENIUS Dialog

With your work in international Online Collaboration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. I think Wiziq, in particular, may be helpful in your international cultural exchanges between all of your schools' students and staff.
Looks like you do great work. Have you done any work connecting non-school youth organizations with each other? I lead a small non profit in Chicago called Cabrini Connections, which connects kids with workplace volunteers and technology. I also lead the Tutor/Mentor Connection which is a hub for hundreds of these programs. I would envision us as a "cause" that could be content for many of the in-school projects, as well as a facilitator to help non-school programs collaborate with each other using platforms similar to yours. I encourage you to add your link to the T/MC web site and use the articles sections to share examples of your work with the people who I connect with.
Hi Chris, I was just telling my wife about my great time in London this summer (especially the tea at Fortnum and Mason --sp?) and how I'd love to go back--I so enjoyed your city and its people...
I am really enjoying it! I am interested in the use of web 2.0 in education, I mean, to give an active participation to schools and teachers for the new net generation.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for leaving that reply with the link to Rafi.ki. I have seen that site before, but haven't joined. I went to sign up - it asks for the headteachers name. Do you really need my Principal's name, or is my name, as the teacher running the collaboration, enough? Just wanted to check that. I"m keen to join the community and see who I can find!
Thanks for posting pictures! They are really nice. Hopefully soon we will have more schools joining Rafi.ki During winter time we have electricity limits...
Chris, Thanks again for introducing me to rafi.ki. I'm still feeling my way through, but I did find a contact in Denmark and we have been corresponding about the Skype call. Apparently I have been moved to a different version of it because of my elementary status, which is fine. There's a lot to learn there!
