About Me
I'm currently teaching Reading Improvement which is very technology-driven in my school. I get all sorts of fun toys and I'm looking forward to using them.

I also teach 7th grade Language Arts. Although the curriculum is less technologically-driven, I do my best to add in technology when appropriate.

    G'day Laura,
Thanks for showing an interest in developing a link with our classroom. If you are still interested, our class would love to correspond with your class. My class could dedicate 1 hour per a week in writing emails to begin with, but I would also love to use some of the other exciting web 2.0 tools.
If it is alright with you, I would like to start with something like Epals so I could check in on some of my students work. Is there an email provider like the one above that you are keen to use?
Our school holidays are coming up so we will be back to school on the 5th October. We could start then.
If it is O.K with you it would be good for you and I to discuss what we have in mind for this venture. We could organise a time to have a SKype meeting next week. I'll look into our timezones to suggest a time.
    Thanks,
    Jason McMahon

    Hi Laura,

With your strong interest in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.
