I am a childhood and special education major, with a minor in instructional technology. I was wondering if you could share any resources with me reguarding smartboards or any other form of technology that are being implemented in the classroom. Thank You :)
Hi! I am interested in presenting at your online conferences from Jan 19th on. So, let me know. I am in Australia, so the earlier morning sessions would be better for me. I have been involved in a lot of global interactive work, videoconferencing and some innovative projects in Australia, using elluminate, blogs, wikis, skype etc that has brough some amazing learning outcomes to our small school. Let me know, and I shall give you more info. You can see some of my confence presentations at slideshare if interested.I would need to be an online, virtual presenter.
OK, glad to have you here participating so actively (!!). But it would be much better to have your real name and photo as your profile. I've already received one spam report. :(
Hey Lindsey,
I watched the KSU video. I graduated college in 1978. Things have not changed much, with the exception of communications technology, every complaint is the same.
I told my kids as they went to college, "You have to teach yourselves the work, don't expect to be taught."
In orderr for a professor to know your name, you have to make it a point to interact with the prof. Otherwise, you are just another warm seat in the room.
I did see an really interesting interactive whiteboard by Julong. It is a 4 panel unit. The teacher operates from the lower righthand board, and then just transefers the work upward and a clean panel appears, the display rotates counter clockwise. The panels can be saved, webbed and emailed just like all the cool whiteboards on the market.
