I am an ESL instructor who is very interested in learning as much as I can about technology and ways to use it in my classroom. I love to travel and I am interested in using the knowledge that I have in technology in my classroom.
Cool! i think you'll find this to be a great resource for what you are looking for.
I myself am not a teacher. Back in the Spring, I helped MIT university run a public service event to get kids to teach each other tough SAT/ACT vocabulary thru user-generated videos and images. You can see what they came up with here: brainyflix.com. And we're running it again this upcoming school year if you're interested.
To market the event, I got in touch with teachers at CR20, and they helped out a ton. I like this site because it's a really great community, and I want to stay connected to learn how else I can make a contribution to education. If you have any thoughts about new tools you would like built, please let me know!
I hope you will find this site as useful as I have.
Hi Carol,
I would like to show my colleagues the video you uploaded here (the one on EFL learners). It is great - clear, effective and so to the point!
Thanks.
Jack
