I am a K-1 Multiage teacher exploring ways to use 2.0 to bring families into the classroom and put tools for collaboration and publication in the hands of my students.
Hi Jessica,
I am a librarian in Markham college, Peru. I really loved your wiki, and since I'm preparing a Web 2.0 introductory training session for my colleagues teachers, and would like to share it with them as an example of what they can do with this new technology. How is your experience with voki compared to podcasts? I noticed you have a list of wiki members (parents?), are they collaborators or viewers?
What do parents & students think of your wiki?
I've started to make some collaborative lists about reading comprehension in google doc, based on The 7 keys of comprehension, a book of Susan Zimmermann. Do you have any experience with google doc & would you prefer wiki?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

With your interest in Web 2.0 Tools and Online Collaboration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
