I began my teaching career at Prestonsburg High School 4 years ago and I presently teach Spanish there. I love teaching at PHS, teaching Spanish, and my students. I look forward to the daily interaction each day. I am currently working toward my Masters in the Educational Technology Program.
On a personal note I am a native speaker, American of Mexican descent born in San Antonio, Texas. I came to Kentucky by the way of Detroit Michigan in 1976 and consider this my home. I live in Weeksbury with my husband of 33 years, Wayne and my younger son Brian(24) who is engaged to Angel. My older son Bill(31) is married to Olivia and they also live in Weeksbury with their 3 miniature dachsunds; Foxy, Trixy, and Daisy.

Happy New Year! I was wondering if you or your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. We'd really like to get more students involved from Kentucky!
