Thanks, I think we have one of the most "organized" blogs I've seen for kids. Some are so full of widgets and lists it's hard to find the actual student writing. I'm blessed with a former student's dad who designed (and serves) the blog using Drupal. It's open source but certainly a much steeper learning curve than something like edublogs (which I find is horribly slow and now they have some funky advertizing things going on). It is amazing easy for me to administer and so safe that with the current setting allows NO untoward messages. .
I'm only a couple of years from retirement, but some of the Web 2.0 tools have been a fun add to the classroom. Let me know if you are interested in the ups and downs with blogging 4-6!!
