This sounds really innovative and also organized. . . . I would like to become more adept at podcasting and make it a natural part of assessment. You give the students a performance-based speaking assessment and have them g-cast it? Could you give me examples of what they are recording and posting? Also, where can I have them set up their own class blogs for free? I guess I could google that. . . . . I'd just like to make my classroom more 2.0. Thanks so much for responding.
Karen, Thanks so much. I actually took students to the lab today and explained to them that I didn't know a lot about podcasting but that I wanted to give it a try. . .. They got right to work. It was amazing. Your student's work is very impressive! I'll share it with my students, if you don't mind. Thanks for all of the great tips and advice. Maintenant mes élèves cherchent une chanson sur youtube – ou des autres sites. Il leur faut discuter ce que ça veut dire la chanson, pourquoi on aime ou on n’aime pas la chanson – et il faut donner des renseignments de la vie de l’artiste. On va continuer ce travail cette semaine et la semaine prochaine. Quand ils ont fini, je pourrai te les envoyer?
