About Me
Every time I review my "About Me" entry I end up with a grin on my face... Due to budget cuts I cannot keep up with what I will be teaching as each year it is slated to be elimated. Electives have, once again, been cut for the upcoming year. So I think I will revise this entry to simply say that I am a TEACHER of STUDENTS who loves to work with those who are struggling in the area of reading. Additionally, I love using blogs, wikis and whatever technology appears at my doorstep next to engage whichever student walks through the door of my classrooms (yes, plural, I get two classrooms).

    For your Web 2.0 class, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
