I'm a student of business administration at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. I am interested in this idea of Web 2.0 application for education.
TED is amazing and Daniel Pink...well he always seems to see things in a new way. Good luck with your studies, education needs all the help it can get!
Hey, Dave. Yes, you can make the work public or choose to keep it private. To make it private in Google Docs, "publish" the document to make it available to everyone, or "share" to make it available to a subset of people (who must have gmail accounts). Zoho is similar. Here's an example of a public Zoho PPT: http://show.zoho.com/public/kfasimpaur/using-mobile-tech-ppt1 You can also embed these in your own web site which is kind of cool.
Hi Dave-- I'd like to invite you to join a Classroom 2.0 group called Canadians Mashup. I'm trying to build a network of Canadian educators and bloggers. No discussions yet. I'm just starting out by trying to find where everyone lives and what they teach. If you're interested, please add me as a colleague as well.
