That's why it's great to do CLASS projects (like the one Dan Klumper is doing below) so we don't have computers "placing social barriers around students" but the opposite, extending their experience. That is why it helps to have all the kids asking and answering questions like, "How is life like in Russia" and not just one student. It also helps prevent wasting time and an potential for predatory behavior or abuse.
