Yes, its good, schools here are pedagogically behind NZ, and lots of work to do, but that being said Al Ain is a nice place to live and petrol is 25c a litre! There are a number of companies working in education over here. cya Gavin

The authorities are trying to move a very old fashioned system into the 21st century. Pedagogoy is very traditional, and the teachers are under tremendous pressure to change. Most are very well qualified and keen to learn, but schools are only just gaining acess to adequate funding and resources.
