Virtual High School - 1999-2007
I was an instrumental part of the team that created the Clark County School District’s Virtual High School. I served as an Instructional designer and teacher, helped organize and develop the virtual high school teacher training, classes, class content, philosophy, and program. These classes included video and online classes and were created to be highly interactive online and video programs.

Ocean Acidification – Global online conference with schools and scientists from around the world
Environmental Issues Project – Video conference with the US State Department’s Oceans and Environment Director; Live online sessions from the Forever Earth Boat (Lake Mead), Project Wet, and UNLV; included schools from Canada, US, Australia, Virginia, Clark County Refugee Project, and the US State Department
European Union Project – Project-Based Learning activity with video conferencing with diplomats for the EU
Walker Lake Project – Project-Based learning activity where students recommended solutions to leadership groups trying to save Walker Lake

Yucca Mountain Project – Yucca Mountain leadership, Scientists, and worked closely with schools in Arizona that live by a Nuclear power plant.

UNLV-AP Video Conferencing Project – Professors came online to discuss key political topics with AP students

Fly on the Wall Project – Created and Hosted a TV Show from UNLV that discussed key current topics
