I am an active member of the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE), the California Association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (CATESOL), the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE), and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and has led workshops on a regular basis with all of them. In 2007 she was selected as a delegate to the People-to-People Ambassador’s Conference on World Languages in October. I am presently a high school ELD teacher, an adjunct at National Hispanic University in teacher education, a teacher trainer onsite and online, and a materials writer.
Thank you for adding me as a colleague and thank you for giving the Nail It Now keyboarding method a "go". I like your style!!!
Cheers,
Georgie
PS I started a blog in 2007 that was to be about my efforts to market the method to School Districts, but only did 3 posts at http://nailitnow.edublogs.org, mostly about my philosophy that you MUST give ideas a go (they pop up seemingly out of nowhere and at the oddest of times, so who are we to ignore them or say they won’t work). I am shortly to coninue this blog about marketing my method, especially about how I go breaking through bureaucratic red tape and, if you like, will let you know when I do
