I teach English in grades 1-4. I am interested in learning how to use web2.0 technology to help my students improve their oral and written language. I am not a techie and have absolutely no idea how to do this.

    Hi, Grace! The idea behind the workshops is to help regular teachers get an introduction to Web 2.0 and also to use the knowledge of other local educators to do so.     With your interest in Web 2.0 Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
