I am in my third year teaching third grade! :) I love all things technology and I am always looking for ways to use it to further comprehension. This is especially helpful when it applies to second-language learners.
How is your work ?
I am quite interested in your views on IT provision
and the appropriate mean of support for special
need in the classroom
I am currently working- maybe not a full 25 plus teaching week ! in a High School ( South Korea) >> and have worked in the UK
at both Secondary schools in uk( they're louder back home !) and also in special schools
Hi,
Thanks for the comment back. I wish we could access Classroom 2.0 from school, but alas... Have you ever used Skype? The free internet call/video calling application? I'm investigating it now and would love to try it out w/ kids. That would be one way we could have students reading together perhaps. Another would be to have a wiki page where students could post up discussions and interact with each other. Just thinking of ways we could collaborate and explore some of this technology. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving break!

Hi Angela. I was wondering if you have educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
