Wow, this is an impossible question to answer - there is not a single tool hands down that I use!! Having said that, as an educator I can't survive without my social bookmarking - in my case delicious. For students, the opportunity to learn to reflect, analyse and more is really well supported by blogging or collaborative work via a Ning group. This is a pedagogical shift however, that is not so easy for some. So perhaps, using a wiki is the best way to start - wetpaint or wikispaces - using an educators version without ads of course. So no single tool I can recommend. Sorry to disappoint. Cheers, Judy
Happy New Year! I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Texas!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
With your interest in Education Technology and 21st Century Learning, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
