I'm an Assistant Professor/Coordinator of Technology Integration and Instructional Design. I create and teach professional development courses for area educators - by day. By night, I am still an English/writing teacher. I just can't give up the classroom! I am a huge fan of Web 2.0 tools and use them in my classrooms whenever it seems the right tool to use.
Wow, picking just one tool is tough, but right now, I would have to say Twitter is it for me. I learn something I can use every day. Most days more than one thing. It is learning in my time and the best staff development out there.
I agree with the above comment, learning to learn is most important. It is always changing and we must adapt.
I believe using technology successfully in the classroom is mindset not a skill.
