As a boy, I lived in India and attended Woodstock School in the Himalayan "hill station" of Mussoorie. On holidays from boarding school, home was in Calcutta (Kolkata).
I have worked as a classroom teacher from K to 12 in Canada and in India. I have also been an itinerant support teacher for students with special needs. At the moment, I support K-12 students who require technology to communicate and to access the curriculum.
I have two children, Anjali who is 23 and Aaron who is 26. I also have two delightful grandchildren, Annika (2) and Isaac (4). My wonderful wife Lynn and I will have been married 30 years this August (2007).
For the past year and a half my favourite hobby has been the sharing of free educational resources that are available on the internet. I use my blog for sharing what I find, but finding time to put posts on my blog has become my biggest challenge.
Hi Paul,
I"ll be attending a Disability Studies Institute all next week. I saw that you were involved in assistive technology which is why I was interested in talking with you.
Hi Paul -- I'd like to invite you to join a Classroom 2.0 group called Canadians Mashup. I'm trying to build a network of Canadian educators and bloggers. No discussions yet. I'm just starting out by trying to find where everyone lives and what they teach. If you're interested, please add me as a colleague as well.
If you add yourself to the map, please include a name or a photo of some sort. There seem to be a lot of unidentified people from unidentified places and the map is getting stuck on for some reason. The problem is that I can't tell from the members’ list which anonymous hits are real people and which were just false starts. The company does not differentiate members unless there is a picture or a name. Location only is not enough to help me know which entries are not real ones. THANKS!!!!
I recommended your blog to a number of people involved and posted a link in my last blog entry.

I'm presently researching VLEs and PLEs - any opinions would be welcome!
