Community Consultant for the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, charged with promoting the Map of Future Forces Affecting Education project. I hope to build a community that can take real, positive action.
This is pretty amazing, kismet--I went to the first committee meeting on the future of schools hosted by my superintendent yesterday. I had seen KnowledgeWorks and was scouting around for other info---then you popped up at ning! I'm going to be reading your blog so I hopefully can make a contribution to the committee. Welcome aboard. N
I've posted a couple of messages on the Knowledge Work Foundations Map of Future. I also added a link to it from my own http://www.tutormentorconnection.org web site.
I encourage you to visit the Program Locator on my site, or my profile here on Classroom 2.0 to see how I use maps and charts. I'm also working to build a community of people who act in a more strategic and consistent manner to help kids in poverty get the types of support that they need to overcome obstacles to finishing school and finding careers.
Greetings, Eric. I saw that Dan B. had made a comment about your work, so I was curious to know more. I looked at your blog and website. The website is very beautiful. I grew up in New Mexico, so that road looks like many places I have traveled. Great stuff! Welcome!
