2012 Social Learning Summit Presenter & Moderator Log-ins

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PAGE AND THE LINKS ARE ONLY FOR PRESENTERS AND MODERATORS.

Presenters: your session rooms will also become live on Friday morning, April 20th, and will have the default session and instructions slides. You are welcome to log into your session room early if you want to upload your slides or practice, but please be aware of three things:

  1. Please do not delete the default slides, as they both provide a guide for your setting up of the room, but also consistency between sessions.
  2. Any slides you upload will only stay in the room as long as you are logged in. Should you close the room and it stay empty for even a few minutes, Blackboard Collaborate "resets" the room to its default state. If you want to upload your slides early (a good idea!), you will have to keep your presentation room open on your computer from that point on until you actually present.
  3. Once you are in your actual presentation room, please do not hit the record button at any time until your actual session is beginning. Any recording you do before the actual session begins will make it hard for people to access your actual session recording after the conference.

The presenter and moderator "lounge" room (see below) will be available starting Saturday three hours before the conference begins. If you need any help before your session, you can come into the lounge and there will be helpers there to assist you.

Volunteer Moderators: please use the session links on this page only when you are assigned to go into a specific session. We ask that you come into the presenter and moderator lounge at least 15 minutes before your volunteer time(s) and we'll assign you to a specific session at that time depending on specific presenter needs. If you are in a position to help in the lounge before or during the conference, you don't need to have signed up in advance to do so! Just come and we'll express appropriate appreciation! The lounge will be open for three hours before the conference for any presenters needing last-minute help, and any volunteering during that time is  especially appreciated. :)

(You can be logged into more than one Blackboard Collaborate room at one time, so you do not need to exit another room to enter the lounge.)
