Gordy made it to opening day against the Red Sox, and, in fact, shouted encouraging words to Jason Kubel that likely inspired Kubel to hit his home run. Gord also offered advice to Carl Pavano that likely led Pavano to strike out select Sox hitters. Unwilling to apply his inspirational powers too indiscriminately and unfairly - from a Sox point of view - , Gord spent time on the concourse where his powers to affect action on the field were limited, and instead redirected to one concessionaire who proceeded to grill what Gord called "the perfect dog."

In this computer generated image of the stadium, Gord is the only real person on the plaza. You can probably spot him, the guy with an actual mustard stain on his shirt. The rest of the people were Sims types who look perfect, are well groomed, whose clothes have no wrinkles, and who, according to Gord, are "pretty boring."
