With a keen eye for the vast expanses and soul-saving quiet of the Hudson River School, Gordy decided to visit this scene just as the sunlight exploded through the dramatic cloud cover. Needless to say, the soul-saving silence was disrupted by Gord's gasp and the hoofbeats of the elk that scattered as soon as they heard him. (The smell of his Chipotle burrito probably would have caught their attention soon anyway.) Upon returning to "this side of the canvas," Gord went out to his car to fetch his fishing gear. I'm still looking for him, but fear he's somewhere along the shore out past the point on the right where we can't see -or bug- him. Hey Gord, how about sharing that shore lunch!
