I have been watching nComputing and Fiddlehead as they work to earn some of the K-12 market. As I have tested both and heard from other schools that have done the same, I would say that nComputing has a much larger market share, but it is because of marketing budget, not because it is a better product. Netbooks versus desktops versus nComputing vs Fiddlehead

What are some thoughts regarding netbooks versus desktop PC's? I have been hearing that everyone is going to netbooks (from the PC makers) but none of my colleagues seem to be moving that way. I'd say that PC's are here to stay for a while. According to Wikipedia "Netbooks are small portable computing device, similar to a notebook, and are great for surfing the Web and checking e-mail. With your interest in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform.
