Hi John--

It's great to find more Canucks in here in CR 2.0. You might want to join a group called "Canadians Mashup". If you join, please use the Welcome forum at http://www.classroom20.com/group/canadianmashup/forum/topics/welcome-to-canadian-mashup to introduce yourself, and then add me as a Colleague.

Hello, John. My head is always foggy with all this technology but I love using it, as so my students. I brought three students from Australia over to the Qatar academy for the conference. Our journeying took over 28 hours all told each way but we really enjoyed it. We come from a small rural school in the south eastern part of Australia. Distance and the cost of getting to places, prevents us going to many professional development activities etc. But I enjoy meeting with others online for PD etc. Wow, you have the jetsetter's life style.

I just added a group that I think you might be interested in, “Educational Technologists.” http://www.classroom20.com/group/instructionaltechnologists I am hoping this group can grow and we will be able to support each other and collaborate so that we can better support our colleagues.

Hello John and welcome to classroom2.0 I have just attended a flatclassroom conference in Doha in January. I took three of my students with me as well. We really enjoyed our time there.
